Early Years

2000-2004

My formative years consisted of dedicated teachers who were interested in teaching me basic color theory, techniques of drawing, and tricks to creating illusions for painting portraits, still life, shadows, reflections of light on objects and water. I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to have taken classes with so many gifted and talented artists. I do believe painting isn't only having talent, but also having a curiosity and interest in the arts, wanting to learn and practice to one's own ability, and enjoying the process along the way.
